VoteGuard International Launches Draft Global Model Treason Law and White Paper on Electoral Fraud
Sydney, Australia — VoteGuard International, an Australian-registered international organisation dedicated to defending the authority of the electorate, today launched its Draft Global Model Treason Law alongside a white paper on electoral fraud.
The draft law provides a framework for countries with multiparty elections to treat electoral fraud as treason, ensuring the highest legal penalties for usurping the people’s authority. The white paper presents the evidence, analysis, and global rationale for the law.
Dr Md Abul Kalam Azad, Founder & Executive Director, said:
“In multiparty electoral systems, the people are the state. Any attack on electoral integrity is an attack on the state itself. By launching the model law and white paper together, we provide both the evidence and the legal framework to protect the people’s authority to elect their government.”
