Sweden’s left-leaning opposition wins the parliamentary election by a narrow majority. The four opposition parties won 176 out of 349 seats in the Riksdag (Sweden’s parliament), while the four parties making up the conservative left government took 173 seats. The results were confirmed after early votes were counted after arriving late to polling stations.
